“I love cats because I enjoy my home, they become its visible soul.” Jean Cocteau

Well, as an owner of six cats, I know that! I have to put them in my handmade miniatures somewhere…

White and clean, cats and shabby chic…This chair looks good in a room, dinning room , children´s room, outside as a bench or inside with some pillows. Handmade with wood and painted.  I wish I could have it in real size for my home! My cats sure would love 🙂

And the inspiration in cats go on!

Lanterns, may they light your way…

Inspired by their magic I decided to do some miniature dollhouse lanterns    don´t know why, but for me they are so special and bring such magic to a home..And off course, they will bring a special athmosphere into your dollhouse, outside or inside.    The roses were made with clay, painted and varnished.

A book is like a garden carried in the pocket…

A true home has to be filled with books, and so does your dollhouse!

The legend says that Alexander the Great always travelled through the desert with his books, for him the most precious thing in life. An old suitcase full of books  seemed like a good idea for me to turn into a miniature.
The  suitcase was made with wood, leather and fabric. I choose a vintage look paper for the inside.

Well for that you need the right suitcases…

While doing this miniature suitcases I was thinking about someone that took a picture in Cairo with the Sphinx, that stayed on a snowy mountain in a cosy cottage in Switzerland, that got lost in the mist of London…Oh wouldn´t you love to be that lucky person!
