Miniature Rustic Boards

There are so many good food photography blogs that it´s hard not to be inspired by I had this idea of making a rustic miniature set. These took me some time and patience but I am quite happy with the realistic results and vintage athmosphere. These are already sold, I will make some more boards soon and post it in my Etsy store.

The Dwarve`s Miniature Dinner at the Hobbit Hole

Chip the glasses and crack the plates!
Blunt the knives and bend the forks!
That’s what Bilbo Baggins hates–
Smash the bottles and burn the corks!

Cut the cloth and tread on the fat!
Pour the milk on the pantry floor!
Leave the bones on the bedroom mat!
Splash the wine on every door!

Dump the crocks in a boiling bowl;
Pound them up with a thumping pole;
And when you’ve finished, if any are whole,
Send them down the hall to roll!

That’s what Bilbo Baggins hates!
So, carefully! carefully with the plates

So the miniature table is set for the so expected dinner before the big journey 🙂

And we need a special bench, inspired in Smaug the Dragon

The miniature rustic table is hadmade, decorated with wild mushrooms, filled with everything that the hobbits like to eat: fruits, fresh bread, pork pie, wine, cheese, cold meats… And they sure like to eat!
The map adds that extra sweetness and reality to the scene. And to match the table we need an unique bench. So I made the bench thinking of Smaug the Dragon. This complets the all atmosphere.
All the furniture is an original design and made in real wood, painted, varnished and distressed for a magical look.
This is an unique handmade miniature made specially for hobbit lovers …Thank you for watching!

Old Kitchen

Old Rustic kitchens just have a special that tells a story and just have a familiar look,this was my propose when I created this miniature kitchen dresser. All the items, furniture,decoration and painting was handmade by me, hope you enjoy the results of this miniature rustic kitchen!

 I wanted a sink that looked very used, I think the dirty dishes is the only thing missing in the scenery 🙂

In the Kitchen…

Today I am in the mood for a more distressed finish in my that tells story’s by the fireplace, that speaks of family living and sharing of good moments in a cosy atmosphere. The ceramics are made of clay and varnished, the basket is made of paper and wood. Love love this basket! The three pots have some cork on the top and the coffee pot is embellished with two roses.

I bought a pitcher in the other day in an old shop, and decided to do some in miniature too..

They just become the cuttest miniature ever! You can use them to decorate every place in your dollhouse, in a room, kitchen, bathroom or garden. Also by adding some flowers their beauty is enhanced…

The small table where they are exposed was also handmade and painted by me.

Rustic Country

Reading a good book by the fireplace, drinking a cup of hot tea,just letting the time pass by…

In a country provence inspiration, this large kitchen dresser was painted in a rustic green. The structure is entirely of wood and the bottom was covered with a  paper that creates a delicate contrast. This piece is suitable for a country chic kitchen, as well to a cottage.

All the pots were made by me, painted in lovely cream colour and a distressed finish. Enamel pots and pans give that charming look to any kitchen.

The kettle is made of clay, aged and varnished to a more real look.
